During March 2018, the REBUS project participants of Volga Tech carried out several presentations for students of the specialties "Forestry", "Ecology and Nature Management", and "Landscape Architecture" of the Institute of “Forest and Nature Management”. During the presentations, bachelors and masters were acquainted with the main activities of the project, opportunities for participation in mobility in European Universities and training courses in the field of entrepreneurship within the taught master's disciplines.
In particular, the courses "Economics and Entrepreneurship in the Forestry Complex", “Forest policy”, and "Forest Certification" will be supplemented with materials and examples on the development of entrepreneurial competences offered by European colleagues. During the current trimester the undergraduates of the program "International Cooperation in the Forestry Complex and Nature Management" will be trained in the framework of the REBUS project at the premises of Jeanne Monnet center of excellence of the Volga Tech. Students are supposed to develop their personal motivation for entrepreneurship and innovation, readiness to risk in developing a new product or service, ability to negotiate and debate on their project proposals, flexibility in decision making and finding compromises in troublesome situations. Training on developing entrepreneurship competences for the 14 master students through the scheme of included study will be held at the University of Duisburg-Essen (Germany) in the fall of 2018.
